Job summary

Bantrel is seeking a Senior Process Engineer for our Energy team in Calgary, AB. You will apply process engineering principles to deliver safe, efficient, and cost-effective solutions while collaborating with project managers, engineers, vendors, and clients.

The role may involve technical leadership and guiding project teams through design and execution. The successful candidate will bring 10–15 years of experience in industrial process plant settings, a Chemical Engineering degree, and P.Eng.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with APEGA.
• 10–15 years of progressive design/engineering experience in large industrial plants.

Responsibilities

• Develops project facilities design from concept through detailed engineering.
• Provide process design for equipment including pumps, compressors, valves, heat exchangers.
• Lead or contribute as Lead Process Engineer on projects as needed.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams for deliverables.
• Participate in project risk reviews and ensure compliance with NOx and emission regs.
• Support construction and commissioning stages with design follow-up.
