Job summary

HC Habitation is seeking a dependable and proactive Senior Labourer (Site Support Specialist) to support field operations, service work, and overall site readiness across multiple residential construction projects. This is a hands-on role that goes beyond typical labour tasks.

You will work closely with the Site Superintendent and play a key role in keeping projects running smoothly by anticipating needs, handling service and warranty calls, and maintaining organized, protected job sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, general labour, or service-related work.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Valid driver's license (required).
• Ability to handle physical work and lift materials as needed.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain job sites to ensure readiness for upcoming work.
• Perform service and warranty-related tasks across multiple projects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues independently.
• Review construction schedules to plan and prioritize daily work.
• Support Site Superintendent and site supervisors as needed.
• Ensure proper site protection, cleanliness, and organization.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle.
• Travel between job sites within the Greater Montreal Area.
