HC Habitation, a premium custom home builder in the Greater Montreal Area, is hiring a Pre-Construction Client Coordinator (Client Concierge). This client-facing role guides clients through selections, documentation, and approvals before construction begins, ensuring plans are execution-ready.

The ideal candidate is perfectly bilingual in French and English, highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with Buildertrend; 3+ years in selections coordination preferred, with a DEC preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in selections coordination or a similar client-facing role.
• Strong bilingual (French & English) communication.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Familiarity with building design docs and floor plans.
• Experience with Buildertrend is a major asset.

Responsibilities

• Guide clients through their selections process in Buildertrend.
• Schedule supplier meetings and follow up to meet deadlines.
• Ensure all selections are documented and complete.
• Transfer client selections to internal specifications and upload documents.
• Maintain organized electronic project files and ensure sign-offs before construction begins.
• Communicate professionally with clients and coordinate with internal teams.

Pre-Construction Client Coordinator (Client Concierge)

Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 CAD per year

We are seeking a perfectly bilingual (French & English) Pre-Construction Client Coordinator -- also referred to as a Client Concierge -- to guide our clients through the selections and documentation phase before construction begins.

This role is client-facing, organizational, and coordination-focused. It is not technical construction management and does not involve structural decision-making or contract preparation.

As the Client Concierge, you will be the primary point of contact for clients once their plans are finalized with our draftsperson and sales team. You will ensure all selections, approvals, and specifications are complete, clear, and ready for execution -- so the construction team can begin with confidence and clarity.

Key Responsibilities

Client Selections & Support

• Guide clients through their selections process in Buildertrend.
• Clarify selection steps and answer process-related questions.
• Schedule supplier meetings and follow-up with clients to meet deadlines.
• Ensure all selections are fully documented and complete.

Documentation & Specs

• Transfer client selections into clear internal specifications.
• Upload all technical sheets, approvals, and documents into Buildertrend.
• Maintain accurate, organized electronic project files.
• Confirm all approvals are signed before project commencement.

Communication & Coordination

• Maintain consistent, professional communication with clients.
• Update internal teams with finalized details & clarify any ambiguities.
• Identify potential delays early and elevate proactively.
• Document every step to ensure a clean "handoff" into construction.

What You Bring

• Perfect bilingual communication (French & English).
• Exceptional organizational skills and time-management.
• Highly detail-oriented with an ability to enforce deadlines respectfully.
• Comfortable with digital systems / software (Buildertrend experience is a major asset).
• Basic understanding of reading floor plans and design documents.
• Calm, professional, reassuring client manner.
• 3+ years experience in selections coordination or a similar role (preferred).
• College diploma (DEC) preferred.

Work Environment

• Temporary remote work until our new office is completed (expected ~May).
• In-person presence at the office afterward to support clients and lead selection sessions.
