Job summary

Axiom is seeking Labour & Employment Lawyers to advise employers across a range of industries. You will handle workplace matters, investigations, compensation and benefits, and labour relations, working with HR and business leaders to manage risk.

This role emphasizes practical guidance and cross-functional collaboration in Ontario and across Canada. Applicants should have 4+ years of labour and employment experience, be licensed in Ontario, and able to navigate complex regulatory environments

Qualifications

• 4+ years of legal experience in labour or employment law.
• Experience advising employers and HR on workplace matters in Ontario/Canada.
• Ability to provide practical legal guidance cross-functionally.
• Licensed and in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.

Responsibilities

• Provide counsel on labour, employment, and workplace matters including terminations and leaves.
• Conduct or advise on workplace investigations.
• Advise on compensation, pension, and benefits matters.
• Counsel on labour relations, including unions, grievances, and bargaining.
• Partner with HR and leadership to manage employment-related legal risks.
