Job summary

Alberta Health Services (AHS) is seeking a Clinical Supervisor for Pre & Post Analytics at the Diagnostic & Scientific Centre. You will lead a large team delivering critical lab services that support patient care across Alberta, operating 24/7 to process over 25,000 tests per day.

The role focuses on people leadership, operational oversight, quality improvement, workforce planning, and change management within a hub lab setting. Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Completion of a recognized medical laboratory program (MLA/MLT/CLXT).
• 3–5 years of progressive leadership experience in a healthcare and/or laboratory environment.
• Proficient with EPIC and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff, recruitment, performance management, and HR processes.
• Support schedule planning, operational decision‑making, and quality improvement.
• Contribute to accreditation, quality initiatives, and implementation of new equipment or processes.
