Job summary

Citigroup Inc. is seeking an Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst to participate in the design, development and implementation of enterprise-scale systems in coordination with the Technology team.

You will analyze business needs and translate them into robust Java-based solutions. Responsibilities include feasibility studies, project estimation, risk assessment, and the delivery of secure, scalable APIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3–8+ years of professional software development experience with backend Java in an enterprise environment.
• Leadership experience designing system components and mentoring other developers.

Responsibilities

• Participate in feasibility studies, time/cost estimates, IT planning and risk analysis.
• Develop and revise applications systems and programs to meet business needs.
• Monitor all phases of the development lifecycle and provide user support.
• Analyze complex problems, evaluate business processes and industry standards.
• Recommend security measures and ensure compliant system design.
• Consult with users and technology groups on issues and solutions.
• Mentor junior analysts and act as SME to stakeholders.
• Operate with limited supervision and exercise independent judgement.
