Job summary

BC Hydro is seeking an IT Project Manager 2 (Product Owner – Corporate) to lead product vision, priorities, and roadmaps across multiple business capabilities. You will manage backlogs, champion value, risk, and compliance, and collaborate with business leaders, architects, MSP partners, and delivery teams to align priorities and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience leading technology products or portfolios.
• Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Technology, Business Administration, or Engineering.
• Proven track record on large, complex technology initiatives and operations sustainment.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills with multiple stakeholder groups.
• Experience with project management, delivery, and mobile applications is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish product vision, priorities, and roadmaps across multiple business capabilities.
• Manage and prioritize product backlogs balancing value, risk, and delivery capacity.
• Lead prioritization and investment discussions across portfolios with governance and funding considerations.
• Support investment planning and business case development to ensure technology outcomes.
• Define product success measures and monitor value realization and adoption outcomes.
• Collaborate with business leaders, Solution Architects, MSP partners, and delivery teams.
• Accountable for assigned product portfolios and service provider performance.
• Lead adoption, sustainment, and continuous improvement across business capabilities.
• Provide strategic direction for technology products and service providers supporting Corporate functions.
