Showtime Consulting is seeking an experienced Senior IP Core Network Project Manager to join our Network Engineering team. You will lead delivery across multiple IP Core Network initiatives for a major telecommunications client, coordinating engineering, vendors and executives to deliver on time and within scope.

The Role

We are seeking an experiencedSenior IP Core Network Project Managerto join a high-performing Network Engineering team responsible for the IP Core Network environment of a major telecommunications customer.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering multiple concurrent projects across critical network infrastructure initiatives. You will work closely with engineering teams, vendors, executives, and key stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to business objectives.

This opportunity is ideally suited to a Project Manager with a strong telecommunications background and experience working within IP core, carrier, or enterprise network environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of multiple IP Core Network projects from initiation through to completion
• Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, resources, and stakeholder expectations
• Coordinate internal teams, external vendors, and technical specialists
• Facilitate project meetings, planning workshops, governance forums, and steering committees
• Track project progress and implement corrective actions where required
• Develop and maintain project documentation, plans, reports, and status updates
• Manage client and stakeholder relationships across all phases of delivery
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues
• Review and oversee contractual obligations, project deliverables, and vendor performance
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across project delivery and operational processes
• Provide regular reporting and recommendations to senior leadership and executive stakeholders

What You'll Need

• 5+ years' experience in Project Management, preferably within the telecommunications industry
• Strong experience delivering large-scale network, infrastructure, or telecommunications projects
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing diverse, cross-functional teams
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, resources, risks, and dependencies
• Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced and high-pressure environments
• Strong reporting and governance experience
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

Desirable Experience

• Experience working within IP Core, Carrier, Service Provider, or Enterprise Network environments
• Strong understanding of telecommunications infrastructure and network technologies
• Experience working with network engineering and operations teams
• Exposure to large-scale network transformation or modernisation programs
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent Project Management certifications
• Previous experience working with major telecommunications providers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Business, or a related discipline
• Formal Project Management qualifications highly regarded
• Demonstrated experience delivering complex telecommunications projects
• Strong commercial, stakeholder, and delivery management capabilities
