Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of internal audit experience in operational, compliance, risk or advisory engagements.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Progress toward obtaining a professional certification (CIA, CPA, CISA, CRMA) preferred.
• Hands-on experience across all phases of the internal audit lifecycle.
• Familiarity with IIA Standards and leading audit practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
• Willing and able to travel within Canada, the United States, and Europe (10–20%) annually.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute audit procedures, document processes, and prepare audit programs.
• Evaluate control design and operating effectiveness; provide assurance.
• Leverage data analytics and visualization tools to enhance audit testing and identify trends.
• Document audit findings clearly and maintain audit documentation in the management system.
• Prepare audit reports and present findings to IA Manager and senior management.
• Monitor audit issues and management action plans for timely remediation.
• Conduct benchmarking to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support development and enhancement of audit methodologies and annual planning.
