Job summary

IKO Industries Ltd. is seeking a Manufacturing Clerk to support the Plant Manager and HSE team.

You will receive product, enter data into JDE, assist with inventory, and coordinate with Accounts Payable and Purchasing to resolve discrepancies. The role requires post-secondary education and 2 years of admin experience, with strong MS Office skills and an ability to prioritize in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Brampton, Canada.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent.
  • 2 years' administrative support experience.
  • Experience entering received product into JDE.
  • Purchasing knowledge/experience.
  • Industrial/Manufacturing background preferred.
  • Excellent MS-Office skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional interaction with clients, employees and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Receiving of finished goods, raw goods, and supplies
  • Work with Accounts Payable and Purchasing Agent to resolve issues after invoices are received
  • Reconcile shipments and coordinate with carriers
  • Enter received products into JDE in a timely manner
  • Assist with inventory of finished goods and raw materials and analyze variances
  • Production planning and Work Orders reconciliation
  • Support HSE initiatives by tracking safety training and inspections
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets in Excel to prepare reports
  • Daily mail, UPS and FED EX
  • Maintain and order office supplies
  • Organize plant events and provide general administrative support across departments
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Job Description

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Manufacturing Clerk is responsible for performing a variety of administrative support tasks, including receiving product into the JDE database and providing administrative support to the Plant Manager, Human Resources, and Health, Safety & Environment team as needed.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintains and orders office supplies
  • Help organize plant events and provide general administrative support across departments as needed
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2 years' experience in an administrative support role
  • Strong experience with entering received product into JDE
  • Purchasing knowledge/experience
  • Industrial/Manufacturing background preferred
  • Excellent computer skills: MS-Office Suite
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks and function effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Ability to consistently interact with clients, employees and staff professionally and respectfully
  • Ability to follow and interpret written work instructions and prioritize tasks independently.
  • Ability to perform sedentary work and sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to walk through manufacturing facility and adhere to Safety guidelines
