Job summary

Westland Insurance Group in Red Deer, AB is seeking a Senior Insurance Advisor to lead client relationships across personal and commercial lines. You’ll promote and educate clients on a wide range of insurance products, manage complex cases, and coach colleagues within the branch.

In this onsite role, you’ll leverage your Level 2 License and progress toward CAIB/CIP designation while contributing to community presence and achieving branch growth through proactive service and cross-selling

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of insurance experience with a Level 2 License; pursuing CAIB/CIP.
• Ability to assess client needs and tailor coverage.
• Proven ability to build lasting client relationships and deliver excellent service.
• Strong organization and prioritization to handle complex cases.
• Collaborative mindset with mentoring and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional client service across phone, email, and in-person interactions.
• Assess client needs and provide knowledgeable recommendations across personal and commercial lines.
• Manage new business, renewals, underwriting, and policy changes for complex cases.
• Build lasting client relationships through proactive support and ongoing communication.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and contribute to branch growth.
• Mentor peers and assist with training and day-to-day operations.

As a Senior Insurance Advisor, you promote and educate clients on a wide range of insurance products, take ownership of client relationships, and help us grow our presence and profile in the local community. You’ll also serve as a senior resource within the branch, managing more complex insurance cases while supporting the development of team members

• Manage new business, renewals, underwriting, and policy changes while handling more complex insurance cases with accuracy and attention to detail
• Build lasting client relationships by providing proactive support throughout the customer journey, including renewals, claims assistance, and follow-up communication
• Contribute to business growth by identifying sales opportunities in addition to cross‑selling and up‑selling products
• Support branch success by collaborating with team members, mentoring peers, and assisting with training, reporting, and day‑to‑day operations as needed
