Westland Insurance Group in Grande Prairie, AB is seeking a Senior Insurance Advisor to join our onsite team. You will promote and educate clients on a wide range of insurance products, manage client relationships, and contribute to local branch growth.

You should have at least 2 years in insurance, with a Level 2 License and progress toward CAIB or CIP. The role emphasizes delivering exceptional service, complex case handling, and mentoring colleagues as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of insurance industry experience and a Level 2 License.
• Progress toward CAIB and/or CIP designation with financial support.
• Strong technical knowledge and ability to handle complex client needs.
• Ability to build lasting client relationships and grow business.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional client service across phone, email, and in-person interactions.
• Assess client needs and provide tailored personal lines coverage recommendations.
• Manage new business, renewals, underwriting, and policy changes with accuracy.
• Build lasting client relationships and support renewals, claims, and follow-up communication.
• Identify sales opportunities and contribute to business growth; collaborate with team.
• Support branch success through mentoring peers and assisting with training.

As a Senior Insurance Advisor, you promote and educate clients on a wide range of insurance products, take ownership of client relationships, and help us grow our presence and profile in the local community. You'll also serve as a senior resource within the branch, managing more complex insurance cases while supporting the development of team members

• Contribute to business growth by identifying sales opportunities in addition to cross-selling and up-selling products
• Support branch success by collaborating with team members, mentoring peers, and assisting with training, reporting, and day-to-day operations as needed
