Job summary

Westland Insurance Group is seeking a Senior Insurance Advisor to join our Edmonton team in Alberta. This onsite role involves educating clients on a wide range of insurance products, owning client relationships, and contributing to branch growth within the local community.

You’ll promote client education, manage complex cases, and support developing colleagues while delivering top-tier service across in-person, phone, and email interactions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of insurance industry experience.
• Level 2 License and progress toward CAIB/CIP.
• Strong technical knowledge for complex client needs.
• Proven ability to build lasting client relationships.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.
• Collaborative mindset and mentoring others.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional client service via phone, email, and in-person.
• Assess client needs and provide knowledgeable coverage recommendations.
• Manage new business, renewals, underwriting, and policy changes.
• Build lasting client relationships with proactive support throughout the journey.
• Identify sales opportunities in addition to cross-selling and upselling products.
• Collaborate with team members, mentor peers, and assist with training.

As a Senior Insurance Advisor, you promote and educate clients on a wide range of insurance products, take ownership of client relationships, and help us grow our presence and profile in the local community. You'll also serve as a senior resource within the branch, managing more complex insurance cases while supporting the development of team members

• Minimum 2+ years of insurance industry experience, supported by a Level 2 License and progress toward your CAIB and/or CIP designation (financial support provided!)

• Manage new business, renewals, underwriting, and policy changes while handling more complex insurance cases with accuracy and attention to detail
• Build lasting client relationships by providing proactive support throughout the customer journey, including renewals, claims assistance, and follow-up communication
• Contribute to business growth by identifying sales opportunities in addition to cross-selling and up-selling products
• Support branch success by collaborating with team members, mentoring peers, and assisting with training, reporting, and day-to-day operations as needed
