Job summary

Westland Insurance Group is seeking a Senior Insurance Advisor in Cochrane, Ontario. This hybrid role focuses on delivering expert insurance guidance, managing client relationships, and supporting branch growth within the local community.

You will promote and educate clients on a wide range of insurance products, own client relationships, and serve as a senior resource within the team, handling more complex cases while mentoring others.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of insurance industry experience.
• Level 2 License with progress toward CAIB and/or CIP designation.
• Strong technical knowledge and ability to handle complex client needs.
• Proven ability to build lasting client relationships, deliver exceptional service, and grow business.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional client service across phone, email, and in-person interactions.
• Assess client needs and provide knowledgeable recommendations across personal lines.
• Manage new business, renewals, underwriting, and policy changes for complex cases.
• Build lasting client relationships and provide proactive support throughout the customer journey.
• Identify sales opportunities, cross-sell and up-sell products to contribute to growth.
• Collaborate with team members, mentor peers, and assist with training and day-to-day operations.

Expected Compensation: The expected hiring range for this rol e is $24.30 to $30.38 based on a 35 -hour work week. Your rate of pay will be determined based on your individual qualifications and experience, while considering internal equity. • Manage new business, renewals, underwriting, and policy changes while handling more complex insurance cases with accuracy and attention to detail
• Build lasting client relationships by providing proactive support throughout the customer journey, including renewals, claims assistance , and follow-up communication
• Contribute to business growth by identifying sales opportunities in addition to cross-selling and up-selling products
• Support branch success by collaborating with team members, mentoring peers, and assisting with training, reporting, and day-to-day operations as needed
