Job summary

EPAM Canada is seeking a Senior IAM Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust identity and access management solutions for customer-facing applications across web, mobile, and API platforms.

You will configure sign-up and sign-in workflows, MFA, and account management, integrate external IdPs, and implement secure policies. Collaboration with development teams and automation of configurations will be key—experience with MSAL and secure API integration is valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing and implementing identity solutions.
• Expertise in Microsoft Entra External ID / Azure AD B2C for customer-facing apps.
• Proficiency in OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect and SAML protocols.
• Experience integrating external IdPs such as Google, Microsoft and Facebook.
• Knowledge of MFA, Conditional Access and identity protection controls.
• Familiarity with MSAL and secure API integration.
• Proficient in Azure CLI, PowerShell and Terraform/ARM/Bicep for automation.
• Understanding of migration from Azure AD B2C to Microsoft Entra External ID.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Entra External ID / Azure AD B2C solutions for customer-facing apps.
• Configure sign-up, sign-in, password reset, MFA and account management workflows.
• Implement authentication using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect and SAML.
