Agilus Consulting Group in Calgary is seeking a Senior or Principal Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to own and lead complex I&C projects across major industrial facilities. You will mentor engineers and collaborate with clients and stakeholders, delivering innovative solutions from concept and FEED through construction and commissioning.

This role emphasizes technical leadership, end-to-end project delivery, and continuous improvement across diverse asset environments.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Hold a current P.Eng. registration with APEG.
• Progressive experience in instrumentation and control engineering on industrial projects.
• Develop and review I&C deliverables including P&IDs, loop drawings, specifications, and control narratives.

Responsabilidades

• Lead instrumentation and control engineering activities across assigned projects.
• Deliver technical solutions that meet project, client, regulatory, and quality requirements.
• Coordinate I&C activities with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Review and approve engineering deliverables for accuracy, quality, and compliance.
• Support procurement, construction, commissioning, turnaround, and operational activities.
• Participate in project planning, progress tracking, and change management processes.
• Identify and resolve technical risks, issues, and design discrepancies.
• Mentor engineers and designers while providing technical leadership on complex scopes.
