Job summary

McMillen, Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineer in Hydrology and Hydraulic for Dams and Hydropower. The role requires a licensed P.Eng and 15+ years in water resources, with strong experience in dam/ hydroelectric projects.

You will develop client relationships, lead multidisciplinary teams, and manage projects from concept through commissioning, including field data collection and modeling using HEC-RAS, AutoCAD, GIS, and related tools. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng).
• 15+ years of experience in water resources engineering.
• Experience with dam removal or water resource management is a must.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams and large projects.
• Strong data analysis, modeling, and design skills for hydraulic structures.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and maintain client relationships.
• Identify project opportunities and prepare proposals.
• Manage projects: deliverables, team, scope changes, communications, and monitoring.
• Collect and analyze field data and reports to define conditions and criteria.
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for dam safety and hydroelectric projects.
• Lead scheduling, budgeting, and coordination of project phases.
• Oversee preparation of reports, proposals, and stakeholder documents.
