Job summary

McMillen, Inc. is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer – Dams and Hydropower with a proven Seller-Doer, licensed P.Eng and 15+ years in water resources.

The role focuses on dam-related design, engineering analysis, and project leadership across projects from feasibility to commissioning. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, engage regulatory agencies, and deliver practical, results-driven outcomes for dams, energy and infrastructure markets while working with flexible office/remote arrangements in

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng) with 15+ years' water resources experience.
Experience in dam removal or water resource management; strong leadership and management skills.
Willing to travel; strong communication and stakeholder skills.

Responsibilities

Develop, manage, and maintain client relationships.
Identify project opportunities, pursue opportunities, and prepare proposals.
Manage projects: deliverables, team, scope changes, communication plans, and monitoring.
Collect and analyze field data, as-built plans, and engineering reports to define existing conditions and design criteria.
Manage scheduling, budgeting, and coordination of all project phases.
Supervise preparation of project reports, grant proposals, and other stakeholder documentation.
