Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Scheduler to join a major hydroelectric project team in Canada. You will report to Project Controls and lead planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and schedule control across engineering, procurement, construction, and interfaces.

The role requires close collaboration with engineers, procurement, and construction teams to ensure visibility into milestones and risks that could affect delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction, or related field.
• 6+ years of project planning/scheduling experience on large complex projects.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 or equivalent scheduling software.
• Strong understanding of schedule management, critical path, dependencies, and variance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed, integrated schedules for multi-discipline work.
• Create and maintain the project master schedule with milestones and dependencies.
• Conduct critical path, trend, and variance analyses; propose corrective actions.
• Monitor progress, analyze variances, and recommend recovery strategies.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure realistic planning and schedule integrity.
• Participate in monthly schedule updates, reports, and forecasts.
• Communicate schedule risks and mitigation strategies to stakeholders.
