Job summary

ANDRITZ Canada is seeking a Project Planner in Pointe-Claire, QC, to lead scheduling for hydro-related projects. The role requires Primavera P6 mastery, strong coordination with project teams, and hands-on scheduling in large industrial settings.

You will ensure schedules align with company standards, integrate L1–L4 plans, and support EVM metrics and trend analyses. Hybrid work is offered with growth opportunities in project controls.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of scheduling experience in Primavera P6.
• Three to five years of experience managing schedules for large industrial/construction projects.
• Bilingual French and English, spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Align the project schedule with project execution plans.
• Interface with the project team, construction management, and business personnel to develop strong baseline EPC schedules.
• Assist in option analysis and strategies for project scope and execution plans.
• Perform schedule risk analysis with the project team.
• Develop and maintain project schedules with the project team.
• Ensure integration of all project schedules (L1 to L4).
• Perform impact analyses of delays, accelerations, and third-party interfaces.
• Define critical and sub-critical path activities and communicate them to the team.
• Maintain other schedules as needed (milestones, manpower curve, mobilization).
• Collect progress updates, apply progress to schedules, re-forecast resources and milestones.
• Liaise with the project team to generate EVM metrics.
• Review manpower planning and ensure adherence to scheduling procedures.
• Improve scheduling processes and data integrity; produce dashboards and progress reports.
• Support growth of Scheduling and Project Controls functions.
• Visit project sites for collaboration and to audit field progress; may work turnaround when needed.
