Job summary

SRG London is recruiting for a SR.HRBP/HR Manager for a reputable manufacturer in London, ON. This stand alone HR role reports to the GM and covers two locations.

The role focuses on implementing payroll and HR systems, strengthening recruiting pipelines, and coaching managers on attendance, performance, conduct, and employee relations. Ideal candidates have 7 years of manufacturing experience, HRIS/payroll implementation experience, and strong knowledge of Ontario labour law.

Qualifications

• 7 years of progressive experience in manufacturing.
• Experience supporting an hourly workforce and handling complex employee relations.
• Strong knowledge of Ontario employment and workplace legislation.
• Experience implementing or significantly improving an HRIS or payroll system.
• CHRP or CHRL designation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of a new payroll and HR system in partnership with Finance and IT.
• Strengthen recruiting strategies with broader sourcing and proactive talent pipelines.
• Improve hiring-manager capability through consistent interviewing and selection practices.
• Coach managers on routine attendance, performance, conduct, and day-to-day employee matters.
• Partner with leadership to reinforce accountability, consistency, manager ownership, and workplace culture.

Requirement:

• Strong working knowledge of Ontario employment and workplace legislation and practical HR practices.
• Demonstrated experience implementing or significantly improving an HRIS or payroll system is strongly preferred.
• CHRP or CHRL designation is preferred
