Clarity Recruitment is assisting a private Ontario manufacturer in finding an HR Generalist to own the full HR mandate across three sites. You will manage labour relations, health & safety, recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and HR policy while partnering with the CFO on benefits and legacy matters.
This role involves building a KPI‑linked bonus, leading safety committees, and delivering a 12‑month HR roadmap to support a major ERP transition. A calm, structured leader is preferred.
Location: Headquartered in Southern Ontario with multiple regional facilities
Industry: Manufacturing
Position Type: Backfill
Our client is a well-established, privately held manufacturer of engineered material components serving the automotive, industrial, and construction sectors. The company has decades of history in its space and is currently investing in modernizing its operations, including a transition to a new ERP platform.
Reporting directly to the General Manager and without direct reports, you'll own the full HR generalist mandate across their three sites — labour relations, health & safety, recruiting and onboarding, performance management, and policy — while partnering closely with the CFO on benefits and legacy matters. The Leadership is looking for someone who can bring structure, discipline, and a calm, steady hand to a fast-moving and unionized environment.
This is a build role. You'll design the company's KPI-linked bonus program, stand up joint health & safety committees across all sites, and author a 12-month HR roadmap that will shape how the function runs going forward while supporting business transformations. If you are an HR Manager who wants real ownership rather than executing someone else's playbook, this is a rare chance to rebuild the infrastructure.
Clarity Recruitment and our client are firmly committed to fostering diversity within our community. Our clients welcome those who would contribute to the further diversification of their staff, including, but not limited to, women, visible minorities, Aboriginal people, persons with disabilities, and persons of any sexual orientation or gender identity. Please note that all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. Please notify us if you require accommodation in the application process.
