Job summary

FirstService Residential, a leading property management company, seeks a Senior HR Generalist to advance the employee experience and lead cross-functional HR initiatives. You will partner with the Director of HR and senior leadership to align HR activities with department goals.

Your role includes advising on employee relations, managing performance processes, and overseeing absence management, training, onboarding, and HR compliance across the Lower Mainland.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years HR Generalist experience supporting a large employee group.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations and HR policy interpretation.
• Experience with WCB, safety, and attendance controls.

Responsibilities

• Acts as trusted advisor to People Leaders on employee relations and policy guidance.
• Leads performance appraisal processes, talent planning, and training for associates and managers.
• Oversees absence management, return-to-work planning, and liaises with external stakeholders.
• Coordinates training and onboarding, including LMS administration.
• Manages HR compliance, file management, and employment verifications.
