Sandman Hotel Group is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Room Attendant to maintain clean and welcoming guest rooms. No formal education or experience is required as training is provided, and the role emphasizes exceptional guest service and attention to detail.

You will follow safety procedures, manage supplies, handle laundry tasks, and respond to guest inquiries promptly while upholding Sandman’s standards of cleanliness and professionalism in a busy hotel environment.

Qualifications

• No formal education or prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Good communication skills are an asset.
• WHMIS knowledge is an asset.
• Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Clean rooms according to Sandman Hotels standards.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cleaning chemicals and procedures.
• Respond to guests and staff inquiries promptly and courteously.
• Record and secure lost property; report hazards to supervisor.
• Ensure security and privacy of guest rooms; handle laundry as needed.
• Stock supplies and ensure amenities are available for guests.
