COMO Metropolitan London is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to oversee daily operations within the Housekeeping & Apartments department. You will ensure guest bedrooms, apartments and public areas meet COMO and LQA standards, while leading a team to deliver exceptional service.

The role requires supervising shifts, coordinating training, and maintaining SOPs, safety and quality across the department to uphold COMO’s renowned guest experience.

Responsabilités

• Assist daily operation of the Housekeeping & Apartments department, ensuring smooth shifts and areas.
• Ensure guest bedrooms, apartments, public areas and back-of-house areas meet COMO and LQA standards.
• Carry out regular room, apartment and public area inspections and follow up on issues.
• Provide guidance and feedback to Supervisors and colleagues to maintain standards.
• Monitor the quality of work by contractors and specialist cleaners and report concerns.
• Assist with spring cleaning, deep cleaning and periodic cleaning programs.
• Respond to guest requests and complaints, escalating significant issues appropriately.
• Lead by example and promote a positive, professional working environment.
• Assist with induction, training, coaching and development of Housekeeping colleagues.
• Maintain SOPs, LQA standards and departmental procedures; keep training records.
• Support payroll planning, rosters and staffing allocations as occupancy changes.
• Coordinate agency staff; support recruitment and onboarding activities as required.
• Monitor linen handling, storage and rotation; ensure proper PPE use and safety procedures.
