Job summary

HYREON TALENT SOLUTIONS INC. seeks a Utility Interconnection & Grid Strategy Leader to drive interconnection for large-load developments across Canada, including data centres. You will manage study milestones, upgrade scope, and commercial terms with utilities, market operators, regulators, and consultants.

The role demands expertise in transmission/distribution services, tariff design, and stakeholder coordination, supporting Canada-wide projects in a fast-paced, highly technical environment.

Qualifications

• Direct experience securing interconnection for loads above 50MW.
• Experience with system-impact, facilities, transmission-service, or distribution-service studies.
• Knowledge of large-load tariff design, demand charges, and curtailable rate structures.
• Credible experience with utilities, transmission providers, market operators, regulators, and engineering consultants.
• Experience in capacity-constrained, competitively allocated jurisdictions.
