Job summary

RBC is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join the Third-Party SaaS Solutions team in Toronto. You will independently develop and maintain production-grade software, focusing on quality, performance, and reliability.

You will collaborate in an agile environment, contribute to deployment and testing, and tackle complex security and scalability challenges. The role requires strong experience in Python/Java/JavaScript/TypeScript, REST APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud CI/CD and robust

Qualifications

• Must have a B.S. degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience developing production software in Python/Java/JS/TS and building REST APIs.
• Experience with distributed systems in cloud environments and automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, JSON, SQL/NoSQL and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Code autonomously in Python and/or Java REST APIs and troubleshoot.
• Follow RBC development practices and contribute to solution designs.
• Mentor and support teammates in development and testing.
• Design, code, test, and support performance and integration tests.
• Lead environment promotions and deployment activities.
• Investigate production issues and drive resolution in Agile sprints.
