RBC's Financial Crimes – Anti Money Laundering IT team seeks a talented fullstack developer in Bedford, Canada. You will lead delivery of regulatory IT initiatives, develop scalable applications, and mentor junior teammates while aligning with RBC processes.

Key tech: React, Node.js/Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, and cloud services (Azure/AWS). You will partner with risk, finance, and compliance groups to ensure timely implementation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 5+ years in fullstack development.
• Proficiency in React and backend technologies (Node.js/Java).
• Experience with Kafka Streams, Java Streams API and Spring Boot.
• Strong DevOps background and container orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Backend SQL experience (MySQL, DB2, Oracle); cloud exposure (Azure, AWS).

Responsibilities

• Manage the implementation of multiple concurrent technology initiatives with planning and control.
• Identify risks, issues, and conflicts; analyze, mitigate and escalate as needed.
• Deliver end-to-end technology projects and manage cross-functional communications.
• Collaborate on enterprise initiatives and ensure integration into RBC processes.
• Hands-on development of technical modules and mentoring junior developers.
