Job summary

RBC Insurance Technology (RBCI IT) seeks a Senior Manager of DevOps/QE to lead DevOps/QE automation teams, shaping AI-driven SDLC practices and quality engineering across our technology portfolio.

You will drive end-to-end testing strategies, integrate teams into squads, manage resources and vendor coordination, and align with RBC practices to maximize automation and efficiency. Strong leadership and communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of QA/QE experience, with 3 to 5 years of people management.
• 5+ years of experience developing and implementing end-to-end testing strategies.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipeline automation, and AI-driven SDLC practices.
• Leadership of testing, including test optimization and automation, with AI focus.
• Knowledge of Agile, Kanban, Scrum, and related frameworks.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead DevOps/QE automation teams and drive AI-driven SDLC adoption.
• Integrate team members into Squads/Programs/Projects and ensure engagement.
• Manage resources and vendor coordination aligned with RBC practices.
• Communicate with stakeholders across Business, IT, and vendors.
• Execute Performance Management processes including development plans.
• Ensure training and tooling for AI and automation delivery.
• Support workforce skill development to meet transformation goals.
• Maximize automation for testing deliverables across the portfolio.
