Job summary

Maplesoft Group is seeking a Senior Fullstack Developer to join a risk and modernization program. You will design, develop and operate cloud-native microservices in NodeJS/TypeScript, APIs and ML model integration.

Hybrid role with 2 days on-site weekly across Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal or Calgary; work with Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices to deliver scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on NodeJS and TypeScript in production environments.
• Strong understanding of microservices, RESTful APIs and distributed systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and DevOps pipelines.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes and API Gateways.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using NodeJS and TypeScript.
• Build and operate cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure (Functions, Event Hub, Storage, Key Vault, SQL).
• Integrate ML model endpoints and decision engines with observability and security.
• Develop RESTful APIs and distributed systems with strong testing practices.
• Collaborate with product owners and engineering teams to translate requirements into solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to CI/CD and DevOps.
• Mentor team members and contribute to a culture of high code quality.
• Support containerized solutions using Docker and Kubernetes and work with API Gateways.
