Job summary

Demand For HR is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to lead the design and development of an AI research platform from concept through production deployment. You will work with a multidisciplinary research team to translate research ideas into scalable software, shaping architecture and guiding implementation.

The role requires hands-on software development in Python and React/Next.js, cloud infrastructure design on AWS/Azure/Google Cloud, and a focus on secure, maintainable code.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience building production web applications.
• Strong Python backend development experience.
• Experience building modern frontend applications using React or Next.js.
• Experience designing scalable software architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with relational databases and data modeling.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Experience with Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong software engineering, testing, debugging, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and make technical decisions with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Take technical ownership of the platform architecture, implementation, and delivery.
• Design and develop modern full‑stack web applications using Python and React or Next.js.
• Build secure backend services, REST APIs, authentication, and database solutions.
• Design scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, monitoring, and deployment processes.
• Integrate external APIs, research systems, and AI/ML services.
• Develop dashboards, reports, visualizations, and user workflows.
• Collaborate with researchers to translate research requirements into software solutions.
• Recommend technologies, engineering practices, and architectural improvements.
• Produce technical documentation and support long‑term platform maintainability.
