Job summary

Projekt Network Inc. is seeking a senior developer who can own the AI features atop a Django API, a Next.js web app, and React Native mobile apps.

You will ship across three surfaces, debug production issues, and take ownership of our AI layer that coaches tradespeople and surfaces relevant people and jobs from our data, plus AI-generated resumes and job descriptions. You’ll contribute to a small, live product used by real users in the construction and skilled trades sector.

Qualifications

• 5+ years professional development experience.
• Strong Python/Django (incl. DRF) and strong React/TypeScript.
• Solid PostgreSQL — schema design and query optimization.
• Production experience building on LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic or Gemini).
• Legal authorization to work in Canada (we can't sponsor visas).
• Nice to have: React Native/Expo, Google Cloud, RAG or tool calling.

Responsibilities

• Build features end to end across Django API, Next.js web app, and React Native mobile apps.
• Debug production issues and own the AI layer that coaches tradespeople and surfaces people and jobs from our data.
• Develop AI-generated resumes and job descriptions and optimize prompts, latency and cost.
