Job summary

Chubb Canada is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer for its AI Platform. This hands-on role spans React/Angular frontend, NestJS middleware, and Python FastAPI backends, delivering production-grade features for AI-powered workflows and RAG-based search.

You will drive architectural decisions and maintain code quality across four repositories. You will collaborate with AI/ML engineers, UX designers, and PMs to translate complex AI capabilities into robust, scalable, user-friendly experiences,

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of professional software engineering experience delivering production systems at meaningful scale.
• Proficient in React with hooks, context, and state management, owning code from inception to production.
• Strong TypeScript discipline in both frontend and Node.js backend contexts.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver React applications as the primary frontend framework for new products.
• Maintain and extend the Angular 17 application with standalone components, RxJS, and Angular Material.
• Build performatic, accessible UIs surface AI outputs and data visualizations.
• Integrate frontend with NestJS and FastAPI backends via REST APIs, SSE, and multipart pipelines.
• Author unit and integration tests across React and Angular contexts with meaningful coverage.
• Instrument applications with Azure Application Insights and ensure frontend observability and performance monitoring.
• Design and implement NestJS middleware modules and ensure JWT auth guards and OpenTelemetry tracing.
