Job description

Synopsis of the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Fraud & Identity Management Consultant to engage with prospects and existing clients by providing experienced pre- and post-sales consulting on technical or analytical solutions, from pre-sales, design, and follow-through to implementation. This may include understanding model development, strategy analysis, performance reporting, and other ad-hoc analyses and/or 3rd party technical solutions. The role involves enhancing client relationships, driving new programs/revenue, and increasing Equifax's mindshare within your assigned accounts. The consultant will define and agree on innovative, best-in-class solutions for Equifax customers based on actual customer data/input and insights to address business challenges and strategic objectives. As a trusted advisor, you will maintain a thorough understanding of the fraud and financial crimes landscape and the key drivers challenging the industry. Demonstrating a solid understanding of Equifax's technical and/or analytical solutions and data sets, you will align these to client needs and challenges.

What you’ll do

  1. Be our subject matter expert in authentication, fraud, identity management, and AML/KYC, drawing on in-depth knowledge of Equifax solutions, data, fraud trends, industry requirements, system interfaces, and business process flow to deliver business insights.
  2. Provide sales and client support in the form of business solutions and technical consulting by assessing, formulating, developing, and presenting solutions that support the client’s strategies.
  3. Provide clients with custom demos and prepare proposals, working strategically with the sales team throughout the complete sales cycle.
  4. Provide coaching for sales, technical, and additional business consultants on general fraud management techniques, as well as thought leadership in the market and to clients.
  5. Stay up-to-date on fraud trends affecting various industries.
  6. Establish and maintain positive relationships throughout the sales cycle and beyond.
  7. Report to the leader of Identity and Fraud Consulting and collaborate with broader teams in building and crafting product roadmaps, conveying customer requirements.
  8. Support marketing activities by attending and speaking at or representing Equifax at trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events.

What experience you need

  • 10+ years of experience in Fraud Management, Authentication, and Anti-Money Laundering/Know Your Customer.
  • 7+ years of experience in the industry, with insights into current and future priorities due to changing market conditions.
  • 7+ years of experience in a client-facing consulting role, leading, facilitating, and presenting in meetings, showcasing strong solution development processes and approaches.
  • Strong consultative client management and solution management skills.
  • Strong negotiating and contracting skills.
  • Issue management and resolution skills.

What could set you apart

  • Experience in public speaking at industry conferences or in front of large groups internally.
  • Experience in government, insurance, or financial services sectors.
  • Experience writing white papers is an asset.
  • Graduate Degree.
  • ACAMS and/or CFE certifications.
  • Bilingual in English & French.
