Job summary

CIRO is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A, based in Toronto with a hybrid work model. You will lead planning, budgeting, and forecasting, consolidating inputs across functions to support senior management and governance committees.

Your analyses will drive decision‑making and financial stewardship in a regulated Canadian market. You will partner with departmental leaders, ensure data integrity across financial systems, and help advance CIRO’s FP&A mandate with timely, accurate reporting

Qualifications

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics/Statistics, or related discipline.
• Holds an active CPA designation.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, management reporting, finance, and/or related analytical role.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical thinking with ability to simplify complex information.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to convey insights to leadership and stakeholders.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and planning/reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, including consolidation of financial inputs across functions.
• Prepare materials to support senior management, committees, and stakeholders.
• Analyze variances and risks, leveraging models to generate decision‑oriented insights for strategic initiatives and sustainability.
