Job summary

Finlink Group in Brampton, ON is seeking an experienced FP&A Analyst to join the finance team on-site. The role goes beyond reporting to drive financial decisions through planning, analysis and performance insights.

You will lead budgeting and forecasting, build financial models, analyze variances and partner with department managers to improve profitability and efficiency. This senior role requires strong Excel skills and experience with ERP/financial reporting systems.

Qualifications

• Several years of progressive FP&A/financial analysis experience.
• Ideally from Logistics, Transportation, Freight or Supply Chain industries.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, modelling and variance analysis skills.
• Solid understanding of financial statements and business performance.
• Experience presenting financial results to management.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and analyse performance.
• Review results and investigate variances vs budget/forecast.
• Develop financial models to support business decisions.
• Analyse revenue, costs, margins and overall performance.
• Monitor KPIs and identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with department managers on financial results.
• Identify cost savings, efficiency improvements and profitability opportunities.
• Provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Support month-end and year-end reporting.
