Finlink Group is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support our Supply Chain Finance function on-site in Vaughan, Ontario. You will partner with Finance and Operations to drive budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cost management across the network.

You will lead cross-functional partnerships, build financial models, and guide a team of finance professionals to improve efficiency and financial outcomes in a fast-paced, complex environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• CPA designation, MBA, or equivalent is considered an asset.
• Strong experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and performance management.
• Experience supporting Supply Chain, distribution, logistics, transportation, inventory management, or broader operations.
• Strong financial modelling, quantitative analysis, and data interpretation skills.
• Solid understanding of operational cost drivers, capital planning, inventory productivity, and working capital management.
• Experience providing guidance to colleagues or leading, coaching, and developing team members.
• The ability to manage competing priorities, complex projects, and tight reporting deadlines.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to make financial information clear and relevant to non-finance stakeholders.
• The ability to build relationships, influence decisions, and work effectively with stakeholders at various levels.
• A proactive, solutions-oriented approach to identifying opportunities, resolving issues, and improving business performance.

Aufgaben

• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes for the Supply Chain function.
• Analyze financial and operational performance to identify opportunities for cost optimization, productivity improvements, and process efficiencies.
• Develop financial models, business cases, and investment analyses to support Supply Chain initiatives and network optimization.
• Review monthly expenditures, investigate variances, and recommend actions to maintain alignment with budgetary objectives.
• Assess business risks and opportunities, providing clear, actionable recommendations to support decision-making.
• Lead monthly and quarterly financial close activities while maintaining strong accounting controls and reporting accuracy.
• Monitor and analyze key Supply Chain cost drivers, including transportation, distribution, labour, occupancy, and inventory-related expenses.
• Track financial and operational metrics to support productivity, profitability, and cost management objectives.
• Forecast expenditures, capital requirements, and productivity savings, communicating results and trends to leadership.
• Provide financial reporting, inventory analysis, and working capital insights, and return-on-investment assessments.
• Build effective working relationships with Supply Chain, Operations, Merchandising, Technology, and Finance teams.
• Serve as a trusted finance partner, translating complex financial data into practical insights for business stakeholders.
• Support distribution centre, transportation, inventory, fulfilment, and network optimisation initiatives through financial analysis and decision support.
• Participate in cross-functional projects to resolve business challenges, improve operational effectiveness, and strengthen financial performance.
• Help align financial priorities with operational goals through clear communication and thoughtful analysis.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and development support to finance team members.
• Plan, monitor, and review team activities to support accuracy, accountability, and timely delivery.
• Contribute to hiring recommendations, performance management, succession planning, and professional development.
• Encourage continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and effective collaboration across the team.
