Job summary

Altis Recruitment is partnering with an established non-profit to fill a Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A) role in Toronto, ON. The position is fully onsite for the first 30 days, then hybrid with three days onsite weekly.

You will support budgeting, forecasting and funder reporting, translating complex data into clear financial insights. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will collaborate with finance colleagues and program leads to align resources with funding agreements, strengthen data

Qualifications

• Experience with financial analysis in a non-profit or multi-funder environment.
• Experience with ministry or government funder reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills and budgeting/forecasting experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop organizational and program budgets, quarterly forecasts and financial projections.
• Analyze monthly and quarterly results, explain variances and identify risks.
• Prepare funder reports aligning with funding agreements and deadlines.
• Support funding proposals and management reporting with accurate analysis.
• Strengthen QuickBooks Desktop data structures and reporting workflows.
• Support audit cycles and time-sensitive reporting requirements.

Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A

Your Responsibilities

Skills and Qualifications

• Demonstrated financial analysis experience in a non-profit, public sector or multi‑funder environment.
• Experience with ministry or government funder reporting, including restricted funding requirements.
• Hands‑on QuickBooks Desktop and SAP Concur accounts payable module experience.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience supporting budgets, forecasts and financial models.
• Clear communication, collaborative relationships and ownership of competing deadlines.
• Degree in accounting, finance or a related field. CPA designation or progress toward completion is an asset.
