Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years accounting experience focused on fixed assets and lease accounting.
• Experience building fixed asset subledgers and depreciation schedules.
• Strong knowledge of lease accounting, including right‑of‑use assets.
• Experience in a multi‑entity corporate accounting environment.
• Advanced Excel and ERP system experience; Sage 300 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the fixed asset subledger in Sage 300 across locations.
• Identify leasing vs purchasing status and allocate to locations and accounts.
• Maintain depreciation schedules and amortization across asset classes.
• Prepare fixed asset continuity schedules reconciled to GL each period.
• Administer lease portfolio across locations, ensure proper accounting per standards.
• Maintain lease continuity schedules with operations and legal teams.
• Coordinate with Fleet for asset acquisitions, disposals, transfers.
• Prepare budget vs actuals and explain variances with reconcilations.
• Present asset and lease activity in cross‑functional meetings.
• Complete month‑end journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support budgeting and forecasting with depreciation data.
• Assist audits with audit‑ready schedules and docs.
• Identify process improvements and document SOPs for consistency.
