Job summary

Environmental 360 Solutions is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the Corporate Accounting team in Aurora. This role oversees accounting operations across a multi-entity organization, guiding a high‑performing team and driving financial reporting, acquisitions, and process improvements.

You will contribute to a fast‑growing, acquisitive company with senior leadership visibility and opportunities to enhance controls, systems, and scalability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of corporate accounting and ASPE.
• Experience in multi-entity accounting environments, including consolidations and intercompany accounting.
• Experience with fixed assets, lease accounting, and financial reporting.
• Advanced Excel and ERP system experience.
• Bilingual in English and French (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead daily accounting operations, including general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
• Review financial statements and analyze variances to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Support annual financial statement preparation and compliance with ASPE.
• Oversee intercompany accounting and reconciliations across 100+ entities.
• Ensure timely resolution of discrepancies and accurate consolidation reporting.
• Maintain integrity and consistency of financial information across the organization.
• Manage fixed asset accounting, depreciation, and lease accounting activities.
• Support acquisition accounting, including purchase price allocation entries and integration activities.
• Ensure proper accounting treatment and reporting of acquisition-related transactions.
• Maintain strong internal controls and support year-end audits.
• Oversee indirect tax compliance, including HST filings and reconciliations.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and scalability as the business grows.
• Lead, mentor, and develop members of the accounting team.
• Foster accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth.
• Partner closely with operations, payroll, legal, and executive leadership teams.
• Exposure to a highly acquisitive, fast-growing organization.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Financial Reporting & Month-End Close

• Lead daily accounting operations, including general ledger, reconciliations, and month‑end close activities.
• Review financial statements and analyze variances to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Controls, Compliance & Process Improvement

• Maintain strong internal controls and support year‑end audits.
• Oversee indirect tax compliance, including HST filings and reconciliations.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and scalability as the business continues to grow.
• Lead, mentor, and develop members of the accounting team.
• Foster accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth.
• Partner closely with operations, payroll, legal, and executive leadership teams.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of corporate accounting and ASPE.

• Experience with fixed assets, lease accounting, and financial reporting.

• Experience with Sage 300 or similar ERP systems.
• Background in environmental, industrial, or service‑based industries.
