We’re ideally seeking a fully endorsed ASTT Fire Services Technician with certifications in Fire Alarm, Fire Extinguisher, Emergency Lighting, and Sprinkler systems.

You’ll work with a wide range of clients - from three-story walk-ups to high-rise residential and commercial towers, transportation hubs, warehousing complexes, institutional facilities, and care homes - helping them stay safe and compliant.

This is a hands‑on, customer‑facing role where confidence, technical expertise, and professionalism are essential.

Main Responsibilities
  • Perform inspections, testing, maintenance, and repairs of fire alarm systems and equipment according to CAN/ULC Standards.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on fire alarms, extinguishers, sprinklers, and emergency lighting systems.
  • Troubleshoot system deficiencies and support repairs or corrective actions as required.
  • Document all inspections, repairs, system impairments, and testing per ISO standards and ASTT requirements.
  • Collaborate with teammates to ensure timely, accurate work.
  • Participate in the on‑call rotation for after‑hours support.
  • Take part in health & safety initiatives, including JHAs and safe work practice reviews.
  • Being the face of Levitt‑Safety to our customers, listening to and addressing their safety needs.
Job Requirements
  • Post‑secondary education in fire protection (preferred).
  • Valid ASTTBC/RFPT endorsements in Fire Alarm, Fire Extinguishers, Emergency Lighting, and Sprinkler systems required, along with current CFAA certification.
  • Minimum 5 years in the fire safety industry, with at least 2 years as a Senior Technician preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, plus comfort with technology.
  • Working knowledge of NFPA and CAN/ULC Standards and Codes.
  • Ability to pass security clearances for site access.
  • Ability to meet customer site access requirements, including pre‑access drug and alcohol testing where required.

  • Company‑matched RRSP contribution plan.
