Job summary

LCL Group of Companies is seeking a Director of Finance to own the accounting and finance functions across our construction companies, including L.C.L. Excavation (2006) Inc, Pavage J.R. Lagacé Paving Inc, and MacArthur's Paving (2026) Inc.

Based in Moncton or Charlo, NB, this senior role reports to the President and leads the accounting team. You will drive month‑end closes, consolidate reporting, internal controls, and financial planning, partnering with Operations to support profitability and

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience in a senior role.
• Proven ability to lead an accounting department and own financial operations.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, internal controls, and multi‑company accounting.
• Experience with construction accounting, job costing, and WIP forecasting preferred.
• CPA designation preferred.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, and financial analysis.
• Proficiency with ERP systems; Acumatica experience is an asset.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end accounting and finance across the group.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close and consolidated reporting.
• Manage payables, receivables, payroll, and GL.
• Lead project costing, WIP, and forecast accuracy.
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and management reporting.
• Strengthen internal controls and standardize processes.
• Enhance Acumatica ERP and reporting capabilities.
• Collaborate with Operations and senior leadership.
