Job summary

Qualus Corporation is seeking a Senior Field Service Technician to power our future in the Specialized Field Services department. The role involves testing, maintenance and repair of low and medium voltage equipment in shop and on site, with mentoring responsibilities for junior technicians and leadership of small projects.

Qualifications

• Technical school or equivalent with 5–10 years of related experience.
• Minimum 6 years field experience in installation, testing, startup, maintenance, repair of electrical power distribution equipment.
• Willingness to travel to the United States and meet international travel requirements.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing, maintenance, and repair of breakers, transformers, switchgear, and motor control equipment in shop and field.
• Lead crews in field for testing/maintenance/repair activities.
• Prepare and document site projects and provide daily site summaries to project management.
