Job summary

Phenomenex, a Danaher operating company, seeks an Executive Account Manager to grow a Canada-wide territory through frequent customer visits and strategic account development.

The role involves travel-intensive field sales across Canada, managing complex sales cycles, and delivering on sales and profitability targets. Remote work flexibility is offered with a strong emphasis on in-person customer engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, or related scientific discipline.
• Deep expertise in sample preparation, chromatography and mass spectrometry.
• Ability to plan and prioritize territory activities and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Grow the territory through prospecting, account expansion and meeting sales targets.
• Provide bench-level technical engagement including demonstrations and troubleshooting.
• Maintain a strong field presence through customer visits and industry events.
• Lead opportunities from technical evaluation through commercial close with account plans and proposals.
• Capture field insights to inform product development and commercial strategy.
