Job summary

Government of Alberta, Edmonton, is looking for a Senior Fair Registration Practices Analyst to support fair registration practices across Alberta's professional regulatory environment. Qualifications

  • Policy research, analysis, and development.
  • Interpretation and application of legislation, regulations, and policy.
  • Stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
  • Project and issues management.
  • Preparing recommendations, reports, and briefing materials for senior decision-makers.

Responsibilities

  • Researching and analyzing emerging issues, trends, and best practices related to professional regulation and foreign qualification recognition.
  • Interpreting and applying legislation, regulations, policies, and procedures under the Fair Registration Practices Act.
  • Analyzing quantitative and qualitative information to identify opportunities, issues, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Developing briefing notes, reports, presentations, decision documents, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Building and maintaining collaborative relationships with regulatory bodies, government partners, and stakeholders.
  • Leading projects and initiatives related to policy development, stakeholder engagement, process improvement, and legislative implementation.
  • Supporting outreach, education, and continuous improvement activities to strengthen fair registration practices across Alberta.
