Job summary

PavCo is seeking a Senior Manager, Event Conversions & Logistics to lead planning and execution of building conversions at BC Place Stadium. You will supervise full-time and unionized staff, coordinate staffing, and drive safe, on-time event readiness across multiple departments.

The role emphasizes leadership, coordination of complex operations, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced venue environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in event operations, venue operations, facilities operations, conversions, logistics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of leadership experience, ideally within a large venue, complex facility, or operational environment.
• Experience leading unionized teams and operating within a collective agreement environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the Conversions team, including workforce planning, scheduling, training, performance management, and engagement.
• Own planning and execution of building conversions: move-ins, move-outs, event set-ups, equipment movement, and infrastructure requirements.
• Develop staffing plans, timelines, priorities, and resources based on event schedules and needs.
• Coordinate with client expectations, safety requirements, and operational commitments.
• Direct conversion crews and ensure readiness, timelines, and efficient execution.
• Coordinate equipment movement, loading dock operations, deliveries, and temporary infrastructure needs.
• Collaborate with Events, Engineering & Maintenance, Environmental Services, Security & Guest Experience, and others to align priorities.
