Job summary

BC Place Stadium, operated by PavCo, is seeking a Senior Manager, Event Conversions & Logistics to lead planning and execution of building conversions, ensuring the venue is event-ready, safe, and prepared for every guest, client, and partner.

Reporting to the Director, you will oversee both full-time and unionized part-time teams, translate strategic priorities into actionable plans, and collaborate with multiple departments to meet deadlines and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Operations Management, Logistics, Facilities Management, Event Management, Trades, or related discipline preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
• Training or certification in workplace safety, incident command, event operations, or project management is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Conversions team, including workforce planning, scheduling, training, performance management, and engagement.
• Own planning and execution of building conversions, moves, setups, and venue infrastructure requirements.
• Coordinate staffing plans and resources based on event schedules and operational needs.
• Ensure plans meet safety requirements and client expectations, aligning with collective agreements.
• Direct crews and coordinate equipment movement, loading dock operations, and temporary infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Events, Engineering, Security, and other stakeholders to resolve challenges.
• Maintain schedules, workforce records, and planning materials; lead post-event reviews and continuous improvement.
