Job summary

BAUER Foundations Canada Inc. is seeking a Senior Estimator to generate project and business opportunities from Burnaby/Vancouver, BC, or Oakville, ON.

You will analyze inquiries, prepare tenders, and present design concepts while negotiating complex technical and commercial issues with clients and stakeholders. The role requires a civil engineering degree, 2–5 years in ground engineering, and strong time-management and English skills; French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in ground engineering or special foundations.
• Experience with proposal preparation and project engineering applications.
• Cost engineering or applications engineering experience is an asset; site experience in ground engineering techniques is beneficial.
• Fluency in English; French proficiency is an asset.

Our subsidiary BAUER Foundations Canada represents BAUER Spezialtiefbau GmbH in Canada and is looking for a Senior Estimator (m/f/x) for its locations in Burnaby / Vancouver, BC, or Oakville, ON, Canada, to generate project and business opportunities through customer contact in alignment with our business plans and growth strategies.

• Identify and evaluate new markets and selling points through prospecting, web research, and networking online as well as by participating in industry events, professional groups, and networking associations

Your profile:

• Degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in ground engineering or special foundations
• Proven experience in proposal preparation and project engineering applications with successful outcomes
• Experience or qualifications in cost engineering or applications engineering are considered an asset, as well as site experience in ground engineering techniques
• Strong technical knowledge across a wide range of ground engineering and special foundation techniques
• Ability to work under tight deadlines with excellent prioritization and time management
• Fluency in English required; French proficiency is an asset
