BAUER Foundations Canada, a subsidiary of BAUER Maschinen GmbH, is seeking a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician to service and repair a fleet of foundation equipment across Ontario from Hamilton, ON. The role involves on-site fieldwork at project sites and travel across the province.

Proficiency in English and a valid driver’s license are required. The successful candidate will perform diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and support operations to minimize downtime while ensuring high-quality

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyperson Red Seal certification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience maintaining and repairing heavy construction or foundation equipment.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, diesel engines, electrical systems, and onboard diagnostics.
• Ability to work independently in remote and demanding site conditions.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across Ontario as required.

Heavy Duty Equipment Technician (m/f/x)

Our subsidiary BAUER Foundations Canada represents BAUER Spezialtiefbau GmbH in Canada and is looking for a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician (m/f/x) for its location in Hamilton, ON, Canada, and project sites throughout the province to maintain and repair our fleet of specialized foundation equipment supporting projects across Ontario.

• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on heavy foundation equipment
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults using advanced troubleshooting methods
• Support field crews with on-site repairs and technical guidance
• Maintain accurate service records and parts tracking
• Collaborate with operations and project teams to minimize downtime

Your profile:

• Valid "Journeyperson Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Red Seal" certification
• Minimum 5 years of experience maintaining and repairing heavy construction or foundation equipment (BAUER preferred)
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, diesel engines, electrical systems, and onboard diagnostics
