Job summary

WSP Global Inc. in Canada seeks a bilingual Senior Estimator to lead estimating efforts across complex industrial, mining, oil & gas, and power projects. You will develop CAPEX and OPEX estimates, assess risks, and collaborate with clients and engineers to ensure cost certainty.

Reporting to the Estimating Manager, you will mentor junior estimators and drive standard tools and methods across national projects, contributing to value through benchmarking and design reviews.

Qualifications

• Extensive estimating experience on complex industrial, mining, oil & gas, or power projects.
• Advanced ability to develop CAPEX, OPEX, owner-cost and construction estimates with auditable bases.
• Fluent in English and French to support cross‑province collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and refinement of estimating models for cost certainty.
• Deliver detailed capital and operating cost estimates with auditable bases.
• Assess scope changes, claims, delays, and risks to protect outcomes.
• Collaborate with clients and contractors to resolve estimate assumptions and changes.
• Mentor junior estimators and promote consistent estimating tools and methods.
• Review engineering data and benchmark information for cost impact.
